Why is it so easy to ski in Les Karellis?

Are you staying in Les Karellis? It’s very simple (we promise). 
A large selection of accommodation is available at the foot of the slopes, where you can leave the building directly on your skis.
The village of Albanne is linked to the ski resort by a surface lift. 
Are you coming for a day? It’s also very simple (we promise). 

A free parking is available for the day. A free chairlift is also available to reach the snow front and the ski passes offices. You can also book the ski passes online. The picnic room allows you to have your meal inside.

The ski area

The ski area starts at 1,600 m (5,250 ft) and goes up to 2,520 m (8,270 ft) above sea level. Two high points are linked by chairlift or surface lift: the Pointe des Chaudannes and the Tête d’Albiez, with exceptional panoramic views of the Grande Chible, the Pointe Emy and the Croix des Têtes. 

On the fun side, children will be delighted by the Ponsonnière slope, which has been entirely designed with them in mind. With its many banked turns, the boardercross, located on the Arpons side, offers the thrill of gliding at great speed.

A multi-faceted ski area

A free beginners’ area accessible on foot, a discovery area with the mythical slope of the Ponsonnière, a progression area on the Arpons side and an improvement area on the Fontagnoux side of the ski area. For the more seasoned skiers and boarders, don’t miss the famous infernal slope of Enfers (French for hell).

A very favorable exposure

The ski area benefits from a double north-northeast exposure that helps preserve the snow.

      At our ski resorts, we selected independent and unique ski rental (the largest in France), to provide you with the most appropriate equipment for your level, on the day of your arrival and without booking in advance.

      The French ski school in Les Karellis is staffed by around 40 qualified instructors, and guarantees you the best possible teaching in groups or private lessons in all disciplines: skiing, snowboarding, ski touring and cross-country skiing.
      The kindergarten welcomes your children every day from the age of 3 to teach them the basics of skiing. The kindergarten is located on the snow front, right next to all the residence buildings of Les Karellis resort.

      Réserver les cours de ski

      You’ll find a nice pick of restaurants in the resort: traditional cuisine, fast-food, pizza and even a high-altitude restaurant.
      You can also bring your own food and eat on the outdoor picnic areas and in the picnic room.

      The medical centre provides general medical and trauma services. It is equipped with medical imaging facilities and a pharmacy.
