Where is the starting point for the Mountain Kart?

We look forward to seeing you at the marquee on the esplanade in Les Karellis. You will be given your Mountain Kart allocation and the start briefing. Take the chairlift to the top of Vinouve. Your descent begins at an altitude of 2000m.

Is Mountain Karting supervised?

Yes, every Mountain Kart descent is supervised by an activity instructor, to guarantee the necessary safety. To find out more click here

What climbing facilities are available in Les Karellis?

In Les Karellis, you’ll find two artificial climbing walls, one measuring 9 metres and the other 17 metres, as well as a natural site in Montricher for an outdoor experience.

Who are the climbing sessions at Les Karellis aimed at?

Climbing lessons are open to all, children and adults, beginners and experienced climbers alike.

Do I have to wear a helmet to jump on the Big Air Bag?

Wearing a helmet is not compulsory, but strongly recommended. You can bring your own or we can provide one on site.

How can I buy tickets for the Big Air Bag?

Go to the Tourist Office in Les Karellis to buy tokens. Each token corresponds to a jump.

Can I get a refund for the Big Air Bag?

Yes, if the Big Air Bag is cancelled due to weather conditions by the Tourist Office manager, you will receive a full refund. Outside these conditions, no refund will be given. To find out more about the general conditions of sale click here

What equipment is provided for archery?

All the equipment needed for the activity: bow and arrows are provided on site.

What are the safety rules for bouncy castles?

Shoes are not allowed on the bouncy castles to maintain a clean and safe environment. Bouncy castles are supervised by parents and are designed to keep children safe while they climb, jump and slide.

How can I get tokens for the activity if I don’t have a Pass+?

You can buy tokens at the Tourist Office reception desk.

Do the children need to be supervised during the activity?

Yes, the sessions take place under the supervision and responsibility of the parents.

Where does pedal go-karting take place?

The activity takes place in the inner courtyard of the Forum in Les Karellis.

Is the aerotrampoline safe?

Yes, the aerotrampoline is equipped with bungee cords that centre the participants in the middle of the trampoline, and the children are harnessed by the activity instructors on site, guaranteeing optimum safety.

Where is the aerotrampoline in Les Karellis?

The aerotrampoline is located in front of the Les Karellis Tourist Office, right next to the Esplanade des K.

Are picnic areas accessible free of charge?

Yes, all the picnic areas are accessible free of charge to visitors to the resort. Enjoy a meal with family and friends in a natural and friendly setting.

Are there rubbish bins around the picnic tables?

Yes, rubbish bins are available near the picnic areas. However, if these bins are full when you leave and to avoid piling up your rubbish, please dispose of it in another bin available on the resort.

In collaboration with Crédit Agricole, you can withdraw cash for your daily needs.

You can buy stamps and send postcards, letters, small packages and registered letters.

Yes. Admission is €5 for children and €7 for students, upon presentation of proof of enrolment.

How can I buy tickets for the Les Karellis cinema?

How does transporting teenagers from our residence to Club Ado work?

A Teen Leader will collect the teenagers and take them back to their place of residence.

How do I enrol my teenager in Club Ado?

You register with your holiday residence as soon as you arrive.

How much does it cost to join Club Ado?

If you are staying in a holiday residence in Les Karellis, registration is included in your accommodation package, summer or winter. If you are staying in one of the villages in the Montricher Albanne area, we suggest you go directly to the Tourist Office reception desk to check the daily and weekly rates.

At what age can my child join Club Ado?

The Club Ado is reserved for children aged 12 to 17.

Does our teenager have to attend Club Ado activities every day?

Daily participation is not compulsory. Your teenager can choose the days he or she wants to take part.

How many different routes are there?

3 courses: 1 green, 1 blue and 1 red with progressive difficulties.

Where do the archery sessions take place in Les Karellis?

The sessions take place in a specially equipped area above the Loix ski lift, right next to the K esplanade.

Who supervises the archery sessions?

All sessions are supervised by a state-qualified instructor, guaranteeing quality teaching and optimum safety.

Can beginners take part in archery sessions?

All levels are welcome at the sessions.

Do I need to book in advance to take part?

We recommend that you book as soon as you arrive in Les Karellis, to guarantee a place during your week’s holiday. Bookings can only be made at the Tourist Office.

How long does a guided tour of the Montricher Ecomuseum last?

Yes, helmets are compulsory and are supplied with the hire.

What trails are available at the Les Karellis Bike Park?

Les Karellis Bike Park has two downhill slopes: the Cool Kar (easy blue slope) and the Déval Kar (difficult red slope).

Is it possible to hire a GPS for a self-guided outing?

Yes, you can hire a GPS for €5, which means you can set off on your own on trails that have already been mapped out.

What days is the chairlift open for mountain bikers?

The chairlift is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a break between 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Do I need to book in advance to jump on the Big Air Bag?

No need to book in advance. You can buy your tokens directly from the Tourist Office.

Is the ‘La Ponsonnière’ piste open all season?

Yes, the ‘La Ponsonnière’ piste is open throughout the winter season, subject to snow conditions. You can check the opening of the ski area in real time by clicking here.

Where is the ‘La Ponsonnière’ track located?

The ‘La Ponsonnière’ piste is located at the heart of the Les Karellis ski area, close to the resort centre. It is easily accessible on foot (for a stroll) or by taking the Plan Du Four chairlift (for skiing).

Yes, you can pick it up free of charge at the ski lift ticket office, at the reception desk of your holiday residence or at the Tourist Office.

Are snowshoe hikes suitable for children?

Yes, snowshoe trekking is an ideal family activity. The varied, signposted itineraries allow children to take part in complete safety and discover winter nature.

How do you get to the snowshoe trails?

The ‘Vinouve’ and ‘Plan du Four’ chairlifts provide easy access to the snowshoe trails. The six-seater chairlift at Vinouve makes snowshoe trekking particularly enjoyable and accessible. Some snowshoe treks start from the Front de Neige in Les Karellis.

For the winter season 2024 – 2025, the Karellis station is open from December 21, 2024 to April 12, 2025.

For the summer season 2025, the resort is open from 5 July to 23 August.

For the winter season 2025 – 2026, the Karellis resort is open from 20 December 2025 to 11 April 2026.

Can we take the chairlifts on foot?

Two chairlifts are accessible to pedestrians: Le Vinouve and Le Plan du Four!

If you walk up and down by chairlift it’s free! Conversely, if you want to go up in the chairlift and down on foot the package will be 8 € 80 the climb. Note that if you do not have a card you must add 2 €.

Where can I book the rental equipment?

At the Location des Karellis no reservation is necessary. You come on your arrival and rent what you need! When can we book our stay?

For the winter season, accommodation can be booked from the month of May preceding the season.

For the summer season, accommodation can be booked from December of the previous year.
