Reconstruction of life in Montricher village in the past. In a former private residence in the heart of Montricher village, come and discover life in olden times, houses, working the fields, working with wood... In the basement there is a reconstruction of how slates were made, a trade that lasted until the early 1970s.
Open during the winter season, in summer on request, Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 5pm.

ALBANNE

Every Wednesday (the day may vary), there is a guided tour of Albanne village and its Baroque church. Can be reached on foot from Les Karellis. Meet in Albanne car park at 10am. No registration required, free of charge.

SAINT JEAN DE MAURIENNE
15km from the resort, Saint Jean de Maurienne is the historical capital of Maurienne and has many sights to see:
the cathedral, the cloisters, the crypt.
Museum of Mauriennais traditions and costumes, in the former Bishop's Palace.
The unmissable Museum of Opinel Knives, open every day except Sunday and bank holidays, from 9am to 12pm and 2 to 7pm. Free entry.
