The downhill ski area of Les Karellis: accessible to the whole family

The Les Karellis alpine ski area is mainly focused on fast downhill and board sports, ideal for skiers and snowboarders looking for adrenalin and speed. It offers downhill ski runs with steep slopes, large vertical drops and well-groomed pistes.

With its 65 km (40 mi) of slopes and 530 hectares of skiable terrain, set in breathtaking surroundings between larch trees, offering a unique experience in the silence and white of the snowy peaks, Les Karellis is a practical resort for all the family.

The slopes are diversified with varying levels of difficulty: playful green for children, panoramic blue at Les Arpons, and red and black at Fontagnoux and Chaudannes for experienced skiers at an altitude of 2,500 m (8,202 ft). Beginners can try their hand on the snow front and use our detachable chairlifts to descend safely on green and blue runs. The sunny Albanne side is ideal for family outings or sessions at the terrain park, while the hillside of Les Karellis with its forest slopes features the famous Des Enfers descent to thrill-seekers.

Feeling like exploring beyond groomed trails? Les Karellis offers secure off-piste slopes within the ski area. This way, you’ll definitely have a chance to leave your mark in the powder snow! Freeriders know it well!

At Les Karellis, every skier has fun, whatever their level and desires. We even claim the title of ‘Family Resort‘ by offering easy, medium, difficult, very difficult and even extreme slopes, so that everyone can make the most of their experience on the slopes.

A lot of lifts, no waiting!

At the bottom of the resort, you’ll find the Vinouve ski lifts at 2,100 m (6,890 ft) and the Plan du Four at 2,000 m (6,562 ft). From Vinouve, you can take the La Plagne surface lift up to the Bec de l’Aigle, at 2,300 m (7,546 ft), or the Arpons lift up to 2,400 m (7,874 ft) near the Col d’Albanne. At the top of the Plan du Four, you can also take the Chaudannes and Fontagnoux lifts, as well as the surface lift of the Tête d’Albiez to get to the top of the resort.

Our many lifts guarantee a wait-free experience, allowing you to make the most of every moment on the slopes.
